Hey there!👋


I’m a Transmission Planner and Power System Research Team Lead at the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO), where I tackle complex challenges in power system planning and innovation. Before joining NYISO, I spent over four years as a power system research engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laborartory (PNNL), honing my expertise in modeling, analysis, and planning for reliable and efficient power systems.


During my PhD at Washington State University (WSU), I explored projects ranging from microgrids - distribution systems - nationwide transmission systems, include topics in planning, operation, and control. gaining a broad perspective on power systems. I also served as a Research Assistant at Smart Grid Demonstration & Research Investigation Lab (SGDRIL), managing the website, servers, and experimental equipments (oscilloscopes, amplifiers, SEL relays, PMUs, Opal-RT, RTDS). I’m grateful to my advisors, Prof. Anurag Srivastava and Prof. Anjan Bose, for their invaluable guidance throughout my research journey.


I’m all about tackling real-world challenges, learning something new every day, and making a difference through my work.
